At the Center for Pediatric Liver Disease, a team of physicians, specialty nurses and registered dietitians provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for the full spectrum of acute and chronic diseases of the hepatobiliary systems in infants, children and adolescents. The Center is led by Karan Emerick, MD, a pediatric hepatologist with advanced qualifications in pediatric liver transplantation, and offers highly specialized care in partnership with the Pediatric Liver Transplant program at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
