As a top fetal surgery center, we're experts in diagnosing and treating the full range of fetal conditions, from common to rare, including fetal spina bifida surgery. Here are just a few examples of the conditions we treat.

twin twin transfusion syndrome illustration — For more than 25 years, Dr. Timothy Crombleholme has been a pioneer in the treatment of twin-twin transfusion syndrome, using fetal surgery procedures including selective fetoscopic laser photocoagulation. He has performed more than 1,000 successful procedures.

myelomeningocele illustration — Myelomeningocele (MMC) is the most common and most serious form of spina bifida. A baby born with MMC may experience other serious health problems. Our Fetal Care Center offers treatment options that include MMC repair during pregnancy (in utero) or soon after birth.

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Illustration — Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is among the most challenging conditions to manage in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Our team approach has proven to improve CDH survival outcomes dramatically. We offer personalized CDH treatment options and long-term follow-up care for every baby and family.
