Everyone listens and treats my child like she is her own person, rather than looking to me to answer for her. We love this because she feels in control off her own health and is able to express herself to the care providers.

This appointment was the least rushed I have ever felt in a doctors office. Dr. Yorns took his time addressing multiple concerns.

I could write a book and still not say enough to explain how satisfied, heard, respected, and taken care of I felt regarding my son after meeting with Dr. Yorns. He was phenomenal in his bedside manner, his willingness to listen to my concerns, his dedication to examining every possible diagnosis and its associated testing, his explanation of everything we have done so far for our son and not only what he recommends for next steps but WHY he recommends them. We did not feel rushed, patronized, or dismissed in any way, which is how the prior provider we saw made me feel. I am so happy we made the decision to seek a second opinion from Dr. Yorns.

Dr. Yorns always goes above and beyond in treating the whole child. He always asks about [my child's] progress at school and follow up questions about an eye issue. He seemed genuinely excited when [my child] verbally responded to him because he has also been involved in her selective mutism care.

[...] Dr. Yorns, however, always kind, approachable, concerned, and thorough.

Dr. Yorns is just amazing all around. He's followed [my child] and his twin brother pretty much since they came home from a 4 month nicu stay where they both had severe brain bleeds and other stuff from being 4 months premature. Dr. Yorns has always made sure we do what the boys need even if I may be nervous or things may be difficult. He's also never once judged any part of past situations our family has had. He's just a great doctor, I wish more doctors were like him.
