Leonela Villegas, MD, MSCE, is a Pediatric Nephrologist at Connecticut Children’s. Dr. Villegas’ clinical interests include the spectrum of chronic kidney disease from congenital anomalies to renal replacement therapies, kidney transplants, acute kidney injury, and autoimmune conditions. Her research interests include health disparities, equity, and outcomes. In her free time, Dr. Villegas enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and Latin dancing.
