I have severe, complex PTSD in no small part due to medical trauma. As such, I have very low expectations of doctors and a very difficult time trusting them. Dr. Baldwin was absolutely perfect, even having no idea how traumatized I am as I was not her patient. I share this only so that you know just how much Dr. Baldwin would have had to get through before I would ever provide praise such as this. She explained everything, she gave options, she did not withhold information, she gave her professional opinion while allowing me full control over the decisions pertaining to my child's care. I felt respected and listened to and was not rushed and she respected my child's needs, concerns, and feelings. I left the appointment feeling fully informed and confident in the direction we were taking. I hope we are able to continue to see Dr. Baldwin for my daughter's GI medical needs for a very long time because I really don't believe we can find better.
