Dr. Orsey is a pediatric hematologist and oncologist and is the director of the Cancer Supportive Care Program in the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Connecticut Children’s. Dr. Orsey obtained her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and a MSCE with an emphasis on clinical trials from the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Orsey is board-certified with the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. She is the director of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program as well as the Associate Chair for Education. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, American Society for Clinical Oncology, International Society of Pediatric Oncology, and Children’s Oncology Group. Dr. Orsey conducts clinical research evaluating physical activity, quality of life, fatigue and sleep in pediatric oncology patients.
